The Dreamers

Hi, I make a brief explanation of the introduction into the world of music and Line Dance Country and how the The Dreamers group was formed: First tell me seems perfect your initiative to create the website “We Dance Country CATALÁN STYLE “This is how the groups with their choreographies can be made known all over Europe. Congratulations!
I started about 11 years ago. The main reason was the great love I felt for Country music. Then some friends encouraged me to go to a mythical dance hall, the Nashville in Terrassa (Barcelona). Unfortunately, this dance hall doesn’t exist anymore. There I spent the best years of my “Country life”. Watching the place full of people dancing to the music I loved so much made me feel so moved that I took to Line Dance from the start.
The group is formed by Maria, Montse, Cati and myself (Jaume). We met at the dance hall where we used to go every Thursday, to take classes from Neus Pino (Neige). There was a special chemistry among us from day one, so we decided to create the group “The Dreamers”. We presented our first choreography, “On the Line” to a contest in a dance hall in Barcelona. We got 8th place out of 32!! Not bad for our first time!
All our choreos have a special meaning for us, they were made with a lot of love, devoting a lot of time in their development. We have more than 30 now, but the most popular of them are the following:
1. On the Line 2. True Love 3. Another Dream 4. For Neige 5. Dreams 6. Oklahoma 7. Get Ready 8. Less Travelled 9. So Much 10. Letting Go 11. Harlem Blues 12. Trains Of Dreams 13. Song Tou You 14. Fire & Lace 15. Anything For Love 16. Take me Away.
We are about to present “Detroit Down” at the workshop in the Country Music Summer Festival), next 16th of July in Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona).
