Is the app free?
Yes, the app is free. There is a charge though for some services, such as audio recognition and the “unlock favourites” option.
Which choreographies can I find on the app?
The app features traditional and Catalan-style choreographies. The archive is updated every day and you can see the latest five choreographies that have been added to the app on the homepage.
How can I browse the choreographies?
Choose “Choreographies” from the menu and browse the choreographies level by level.
You can search for choreographies by entering any keyword in the lookup field (the one with a magnifying glass icon). A keyword could be the full title of a choreography or just part of the title, a year, a choreographer, or a style (traditional or Catalan-style).
Once you’ve search for a term, you can browse the results even by level.
So if you search for “2018”, you can see all the choreographies from 2018. If you then select a level, e.g. intermediate, you can see all the intermediate level choreographies from 2018.
You can also do this when searching for a choreographer or with any other keyword.
You can rapidly scroll through the choreographies using the vertical scroll bar, just like when you search the phone book on your smartphone.
What can I put in favourites?
You can save the songs that you have recognised and choreographies to your favourites. If you purchase the “unlock favourites” option, you can save an unlimited number of songs and unlimited choreographies.
What are credits?
You need credits to activate the song recognition, which is only available when you have an active data connection. For the app to successfully identify the song, it is best to get as close as possible to the source of the sound, preferably without too much background noise as this could interfere with recognition.
A credit is deducted for each song recognition. Once you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions, you have agreed that the app may have margins of error and provide incorrect results. It is best to start the recognition process when the song is being sung rather than during an instrumental part of the song.
The app gives you 5 free credits up until the end of July 2018 so that you can trial the service.
Can I be reimbursed for credits that I have purchased?
No. Once you have registered and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, you have agreed that you may not ask for your money back.
What can I do with the audio recognition?
By activating the audio recognition, you can save the song and any choreographies that are linked to it to your favourites. You can save any name of a choreography that is not in the archive in the notes.
Can I browse choreographies and my favourites without a data connection?
Of course! You can browse the choreographies that were downloaded when the app was last updated with an active data connection, but you cannot access the details. You can also view the list of saved choreographies. You cannot see the images, any recently added choreographies, or details about the choreographies and you cannot add any other choreographies to your favourites when you do not have an active data connection.
I’m a choreographer and my choreography is not in the archive. How can I report this?
There is a fee for adding a choreography to the app. Please email me at email@example.com with the title and the demo or instructional video on YouTube. The owner of the app will decide whether to add the choreography to the archive without providing any explanations. If the owner thinks it is suitable, you will be contacted about adding it to the archive.
I want to advertise on the app. How can I do?
If you have a business and want to reach more customers, the app offers you the option of adding different types of banners (a. on the homepage b. an ad that remains visible at the bottom of the screen). You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and use this email address to send the banner artwork and the point link. We will email you with details about costs and which material to send.
I have found an error in the app or in one of the choreographies. How can I report it?
Email me at email@example.com. Please include as much detail as possible about the error, and if possible, any screenshots showing the error.
I want to delete my account. How can I do this?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “REMOVE” in the subject line. Please include your username and the email address used when you registered on the app. If you still have some credits when you delete your account, these will not be reimbursed.
I’m having problems with the app. How can I ask for tech support?
Send an email to email@example.com with “HELP” in the subject line. Please provide a detailed explanation of your problem. I will try to help you as soon as possible.
Availability: The team is available from Monday to Friday. The team is not available on Italian national holidays or in August.
